🎃 Learn French Halloween Vocabulary Through Play

Make learning French fun with these Halloween French vocabulary cards, designed to help children discover, recognize and remember common Halloween words in French and English.

With colorful illustrations and hands-on word matching, children explore 12 Halloween-themed words including familiar characters, costumes, animals and objects.

Designed for Kindergarten to Grade 2, this bilingual activity combines French vocabulary practice with word recognition, early reading and memory skills.

👻 Two Levels for Progressive Learning

The activity includes 24 illustrated cards with two levels of difficulty:

Guided Version – Kindergarten
12 illustrated cards with written words provide visual support, helping children connect each picture with the corresponding French and English vocabulary.

Independent Version – Grade 1–2
12 illustrated cards without written words encourage children to use the 24 word labels – 12 French and 12 English – to match each word with the correct picture.

Children can start with the guided version before gradually moving on to more independent reading and word recognition.
